Adopting a golden retriever in Colorado

Our Guardian Program

Our decision to start the Guardian Program is rooted in our unwavering commitment to the well-being of our Goldens. These dogs are not just pets; they are an integral part of our family, constantly surrounded by care and affection. Our dogs mean the world to us, and we believe that every dog, just like them, deserves a loving family. With this vision, we have designed our breeding program, where our dogs become part of guardian families like yours.

This program ensures that our puppies and dogs have all their needs met and are showered with the love and attention they crave. When a puppy joins your home, they become an irreplaceable part of your family. When it's time for them to have their own litter, they return to our home, maintaining a deep connection with both their families.

Our Guardian Program offers loving families the opportunity to have a remarkable puppy without the usual upfront expenses. The adoption fee for our guardians is just half of the normal pet puppy fee.

Currently, we are searching for individuals in the surrounding Denver Metro area of Colorado who would embrace the opportunity to become part of our guardian family. What we ask from you and your family is to shower the puppy with love, nurturing them into a well-rounded, socialized, and impeccably well-mannered adult dog. Our breeding females typically have 3-4 litters, starting around the age of 2. The transfer of legal ownership occurs once your dog has concluded their breeding career and has been spayed or neutered at our expense. In essence, your dog is raised and cherished by you but participates in our breeding program for 3-4 litters.

We understand that the idea of having your dog away during the whelping and nursing phase, which typically lasts 9 weeks, can be a concern. However, we view this as an opportunity for us to build a close-knit bond. Our guardian families become an extension of our own, and we encourage you to visit your girl weekly or every other week, spend time with the puppies, and become part of our journey. This process is incredibly rewarding and exhilarating, fueling our passion for raising Golden Retrievers. The joy it brings is truly remarkable.

The conditions for joining our Guardian Program are simple but meaningful:

  1. Shower your pup with love- must be able to provide a stable and loving forever home within 3 hours of Aurora, Colorado

  2. Must be a good communicator and work well within a team.

  3. Provide daily exercise, nourishment, regular vet visits, and necessary obedience training.

  4. Cover normal expenses related to caring for a dog while we handle health certification testing and breeding-related medical expenses.

We are excited to embark on this journey with you and your family. Golden Retrievers hold a special place in our hearts, and we believe they are the best breed in the world (completely unbiased, of course!). Our previous adoptive families have only had extraordinary things to say about their new additions, and we are confident you will feel the same way.

Thank you for considering becoming part of our extended family. We look forward to getting to know you and sharing the boundless love and joy these Golden Retrievers bring.
